The Federation of Educational Publishers in India is an apex body of educational publishers. The Federation came into existence in 1987. It has major leading publishers of the country and represents all the educational publishers in India.

The Federation of Educational Publishers in India is an apex body of educational publishers. The Federation came into existence in 1987. The Federation is spread throughout the country and all the major publications are part of this prestegious organization . The main objective of the Federation is to look after the interest of its members who are engaged in publishing high quality books in content and presentation. Our member publishers cater to a large percentage of student population of the country. One of the activities of the Federation is to hold Annual Educational Conference where renowned authors and educationists express their views on educational matters, new approaches of study and syllabus. We also honour distinguished individuals and institutions who have contributed immensely in the field of education. Awards are bestowed upon Distinguished Educationists, Educational Institutions, Authors (Higher Education and School Education), Publishing Houses, etc.
We have a holistic approach to spreading education through the content developed and distributed by publishers in the federation that aims at innovating education by blending it with technology.

We are the pioneers of education in India. Our federation of the most valuable publishers has been formed keeping in mind the current trends in the education sector.
- Maintain harmony between the Publishers and various Government Agencies to serve the interests of the society.
- Suggest proper measures to its members for producing quality books at affordable rates and relentlessly devise improvement of standard of Educational Books to compete in the international market.
- Explore the avenues of promoting export of books particularly to Asian, African and Middle East Countries where demand of Indian books has shown an upward trend.
